On the 10th on May 2019, the opening conference of the ROHU 183 SAFE BORDER, SAFER LIFE project took place.
On the 10th of May 2019, at 12 o’clock, at the headquarters of the Prefect’s Office of Bihor county, the opening conference of the ROHU 183 SAFE BORDER, SAFER LIFE project took place, project financed through the INTERREG V A Romania – Hungary cross-border cooperation program, financed by the European Union and the Governments of the two countries.
The opening conference of the project aimed at setting the start of the project, at promoting the project and the Interreg VA Romania Hungary financing program within the local community, being held in accordance with the agenda.
Representatives of the partners, deconcentrated services from Bihor county, representatives of city halls from Bihor county (municipalities and border area, approx. 20 city halls), and other interested parties were invited to the conference: Ministry of Internal Affairs – DGRIP and DFEN, BRECO, the Managing Authority of MDRAP, Bihor County Council, media representatives, Chamber of Commerce of Bihor county, Metropolitan Area of Oradea, “Filantropia” Association, University of Oradea.
The event was also advertised through interreg-rohu.eu. The partners were represented at the highest level, and the management team of the project has developed a presentation of all the activities of the project, organized based on responsibilities.
The invitations to the event and the presentations were previously certified for conformity, for assuring the presence of compulsory visibility items of the Interreg VA Romania Hungary financing program.
Within the conference, information materials were distributed: 150 folders with a short presentation of the project, agenda, and papers having the marks of the program, printed on recyclable paper, and also150 pens. These materials were distributed both to the participants of the meeting, and to the partner organizations, interested deconcentrated institutions and Bihor County Council, for the purpose of increasing the visibility of the project.
For increasing the publicity of the project, its posters and roll-ups were placed in visible areas. Also, all partners received posters for placing them in visible areas of their institutions.
Also, during the opening conference, the assessment visit of the representatives of the Management Authority took place, who, on this occasion, handed over the Addendum to the ROHU 183 Contract.
The event was broadcasted live through social media (Facebook) and the press release (Breco certified) was sent to all representatives of the local/regional mass media. A short description of the event, together with photos, was published on the Facebook page of the Prefect’s Office of Bihor county.
