In accordance with the ROHU 183 SAFE BORDER, SAFER LIFE Project Management Plan, on the 21st of January 2019, the meeting of the Steering Committee of the ROHU 183 SAFE BORDER, SAFER LIFE , funded under the INTERREG V A Romania – Hungary cross-border cooperation program took place.
Leaders of the partner institutions gathered at the Prefecture of Bihor County to mark the start of the project and set the guidelines for collaboration, reiterating the commitment to cope with professionalism in the implementation of the project. Also, the Prefect has asked the institutions under the MIA to analyse the institutional needs in order to prepare the next multi-annual financial framework 2020-2027.
Mr. Ion Iulius Delorean, Project Manager, supported the idea of implementing the project activities in line with the proposed timetable and attempting to recover the delay caused by budget allocations. He also referred to the Management Plan, with two more meetings of the Steering Committee being held during the implementation of the project.
A brief Power Point presentation of the project was carried out by Mrs. Daniela Calinescu, Assistant Manager of the project for the Romanian side.
